Issaquah homes
Newer houses, builder-grade baths
A lot of Issaquah housing is newer: Issaquah Highlands and Talus townhomes, and valley subdivisions near the creek. Many still have the baths they were built with: a fiberglass tub-shower, a small stall, and a vinyl or basic tile floor.
Andzhei takes those rooms out to the framing where needed and builds them back in tile. He plans the layout, sets the tile, and grouts it himself. A site visit comes first, so the scope and the price are clear before anything comes out. Plumbing and electrical moves go to licensed trades.
For tile choices, the job steps, and cost questions, see the bathroom tile guide.

Townhome showers
A fiberglass stall becomes a tiled shower
Townhome bathrooms are tight. A tiled shower with a niche and a low curb can fit the same footprint as the old fiberglass stall. The walls get waterproofed as one system before the first tile goes up.

In shared-wall homes, noise and dust matter to the neighbors too. I plan the loud demo days early, keep the work area closed off, and clean up every day.
Keep the tub? Some families keep one tub for kids and turn the primary bath into a walk-in shower. That gets decided on the visit, before tile is ordered.

Tile beyond the bath
The bath comes first. A backsplash, an entry floor, or a fireplace surround can follow in the same house.
How I work
HOA rules first, then tile
Many Issaquah neighborhoods have HOA rules on work hours, parking, and dumpsters. A bathroom remodel here starts by checking those rules, then fixing the order of work on the visit.

FAQ
Issaquah bath questions
Do you work in HOA communities?
Yes. Share the HOA rules before the visit and the plan follows them: work hours, parking, and where debris goes. Call (425) 737-8064 with questions.
Can a fiberglass tub unit become a tiled shower?
Usually, yes. The unit comes out, the walls and drain area are checked, and the shower is built in tile. If the drain or valve must move, a licensed plumber handles it.
Is a full gut needed?
Not always. Some baths only need the shower and floor redone. If the room goes to the studs, see full bathroom renovation.
What tile works in a small townhome bath?
Larger porcelain on the floor and lighter wall tile make a small room read bigger. I pick the size after seeing the layout and light.
