How I work

How I sequence the room

Same four steps whether the job is a tub surround, a walk-in shower, a backsplash, or a new floor.

  1. 01

    Walk the room

I check the pan, subfloor, or wall backing, how flat the surface sits, and where joints and niches should land.

  2. 02

    Price the prep

Layout, doorway transitions, and what has to come off the wall or floor are in the number before I start.

  3. 03

    Set it myself

Every piece, from shower walls and curbs to kitchen counters and floors. Joints stay even.

  4. 04

    Grout and a last look

I clean up with you there and point out any cut or transition I want you to see.

FAQ

Questions before a visit

What stays in the room, and what does not?

I set the tile: shower walls, floors, backsplashes, surrounds, and the trim that meets them. I do not run the house as a general contractor. If a valve, a drain, or the electrical has to move, that work stays with those trades, and I say so on the visit before the price is set.

Who is on the job?

I am. Andzhei sets every piece, from the first cut to the last grout joint. You talk to the person doing the work.

What should I have ready?

Room size, whether the job is a bath, kitchen counter, floor, or surround, and the tile you already picked or still need help choosing. I book the visit from that.

Which cities are on the list?

Seattle, Bellevue, Bothell, Edmonds, Shoreline, Everett, and Marysville. Open service areas and pick the city. Close to one of them? Call (425) 737-8064.

Where are the longer answers?

Site-wide questions sit on the FAQ. If you already know the room and the timing, use the contact page and I will set the visit.
